BLUE FENCE REAL ESTATE AND FIFTH THIRD BANK LAUNCH THE GIFT OF HOME PROGRAM

CHICAGO, IL (August 1, 2008) – Blue Fence Real Estate and Fifth Third Bank is proud to announce the launching of The Gift of Home program. The Gift of Home is a wedding registry that allows guests to contribute monetary gifts towards the down payment of the newlywed’s future home.

“Instead of receiving a toaster or blender, now future newlyweds can now receive monetary wedding gifts that will go towards purchasing their future home,” said Doug Anderson, President of Blue Fence Real Estate. “Times are changing where home buyers now need some type of down payment to purchase a home. This program allows family and friends to give a gift that can help the future newlyweds start their new family together in their own home.”

As part of the program, future newlyweds will open an FDIC-insured Fifth Third GoalSetter Account, where the gift funds will be deposited. Mortgage professionals with Fifth Third Bank will show how to get pre-approved for a home loan. Then, an experienced Blue Fence Real Estate agent will take the couple out and help them find their dream home. Together, Blue Fence and Fifth Third will get final loan approval and guide the couple through the final steps of the home buying process.

“This program takes the guesswork out of gift selection. These gifts can be given with the assurance that it is going towards something the future newlyweds really need,” said Howard Ackerman, Senior Vice President of Fifth Third Bank. “We look forward to being able to team up with Blue Fence and help these couples start their life together.”

Future newlyweds interested in The Gift of Home program should contact Doug Anderson with Blue Fence Real Estate at 847-687-3424 or go online to: www.thegiftofhome.com.
